The celebration of the Holy Eucharist is at the heart of the life of St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Parish – Muyeye. In the Mass, the parish gathers as one family of faith to listen to the Word of God, offer thanksgiving, and receive the Body and Blood of Christ. The Eucharist remains the source and summit of our Christian life and mission.
Our parish seeks to make Holy Mass accessible to the faithful through regular parish celebrations, Sunday liturgies, and neighborhood Masses in the Small Christian Communities. In this way, worship is shared not only in the main church, but also in the homes and communities of the people.
Current Parish Mass Schedule
- Daily Mass: 6:30 AM, Every Day
- Sunday First Mass: 6:30 AM
- Sunday Second Mass (Youth Mass): 8:30 AM
- Sunday Third Mass: 10:00 AM
- Thursday: Mass and Adoration: 4:30 PM
Small Christian Community Masses
In addition to Masses at the parish church, the priests also celebrate Holy Mass on a rotating basis in the Small Christian Communities. These neighborhood Masses are usually held in the evening and help bring the Eucharist closer to families and parishioners who may not easily attend morning Mass at the church.
Special Feast Day and Combined Masses
On major feast days, parish-wide celebrations, or other important occasions, the normal Sunday schedule may be adjusted so that the whole parish can gather for one common celebration. When this happens, the parish communicates the revised Mass time in advance through announcements and notices.
A Welcoming Eucharistic Community
All parishioners, visitors, and friends of the parish are warmly welcome to join us for Holy Mass. Whether you come for daily Mass, Sunday worship, a youth liturgy, or a Small Christian Community celebration, you are invited to encounter Christ and share in the prayer of the Church.
