St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Parish – Muyeye is guided by a collaborative parish structure that supports the spiritual, pastoral, administrative, and developmental life of the community. Under Jesuit pastoral leadership, the parish brings together clergy, religious, lay leaders, staff, committees, Small Christian Communities, and outstations in a shared mission of evangelization, service, and responsible stewardship.
This structure helps ensure that parish life is not centered on one office or group alone, but is carried forward through cooperation, consultation, and shared responsibility. In this way, the parish continues to grow as a faith community rooted in prayer, accountability, unity, and service.
The attached parish sources consistently show that leadership at St. Charles Lwanga Parish is both pastoral and participatory: the clergy provide spiritual direction and sacramental leadership; the Parish Pastoral Council helps with planning, discernment, and coordination; staff and pastoral workers support daily parish life; committees focus on specific areas of ministry and development; and the Christian communities and outstations keep the mission alive at the grassroots.

Shared Responsibility in Parish Life
The structure of the parish reflects the Church’s call to co-responsibility. Each office, council, committee, and community has its own role, but all serve the same mission: to build up the Body of Christ, to strengthen communion, and to help the faithful live the Gospel in worship, service, and daily life.
